Client Portal
I use a HIPAA compliant platform called Simple Practice to facilitate communication, documentation, and billing. The client portal allows my patients to access this platform in a variety of ways. Patients can use the messaging feature to ask questions or note information important to the following session, retrieve documents shared by therapist, upload documents of their own, complete necessary paperwork, make payments, view account balances or activity, download invoices or superbills, and monitor upcoming appointments. Moreover, the client portal facilitates telehealth (online therapy) either regularly or in special circumstances like illnesses or inclement weather.
